Contemporary Art: Shie Moreno - Sights, Sounds And Spirits @ No Romance Galleries, New York City

(Drivebycuriosity) - The Broadway stands for musical shows and huge theater stages. But the famous street has much more to offer. You can find there also some fine art galleries, especially in downtown Manhattan.

Last Saturday I discovered a small but interesting exhibition of contemporary art in Manhattan`s district TriBeCa. The No Romance Galleries on 355 Broadway, which is just a small room behind a coffeeshop, has a show called  "Sights, Sounds And Spirits" by Shie Moreno (through June 17th 2014 noromance).

According to their website the works of the New York based artist are "reflective of his Afro-Cuban ancestry, spiritual roots, and dynamic connection to the cities he’s lived in". Let the pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy.
