Economy: Invitation To Europe

(Drivebycuriosity) - "There will never be a better time to go to Europe than right now", writes the Washington Post (washingtonpost). I am not sure if the word "never" is appropriate. You never know what the future will bring. But the paper is not totally wrong, the Euro is much cheaper than a year ago. Since last year´s may the European currency has dropped around 17%. And in March the Euro started rising again because Europe`s economy is recovering. Now it looks like that the adavantage might melt away.

Anyway, I think Europe is worth a visit - any time. In April my wife and I visited Barcelona (driveby). We did not just enjoy the indeed reduced prices, thanks to the cheap Euro (especially the solid Spanish food & wine comes much cheaper than in New York). We also indulged into the beauty of this mediterean city and its culture. Barcelona is really recommended.

And Europe (meaning the European currency area) has much more to offer, not just famous places like Berlin, Paris, Rome & the Toscana. Btw. you will never get there as young as today. Enjoy!
