(Drivebycuriosity) - Yesterday New York City got struck by another terrorist attack. A man drove a truck in a group of people and killed at least 8 persons and injured many more. But New York stayed with the tradition and performed the annual Halloween parade in the evening.
My wife and I joined the parade like in the years before. The worm went as usual along
Manhattan`s 6th Avenue from Soho to Chelsea. But there was more security of course. All crossing streets were blocked by trucks & police cars and many armed cops watched the parade. In spite of the terrorist attack and chilly weather (around 50F/10C) there were again thousands of
participants who seemed to have fun.
Here is a collection of the pics I took there (camera iPhone 7plus). Some were scary, some
strange, others funny and sexy. Some had just fun with whatever
they were representing.
Some looked really terrifying.

Some resembled strange visitors from an alternate universe.
There was even an unicorn. Isn`t she pretty?
Some came from apparently from the star wars universe - with light sabers of course.
Some looked rather funny.
There was even a Samba band - with greetings from carnival in Rio.
Even the spectators were amazing.
Thanks to the organizers, the police and others who took care
that this event was peaceful and fun.
