Traveling: A Walk In Vomero, Naples Italy

(Drivebycuriosity) - Yesterday wife and arrived in Naples (Napoli), the second step in our Italy trip. We are lodging in a hotel in Vomero, a neighborhood on one of Naple´s hill. Fortunately the place can easily reached by subway.

There are amazing sights onto Naples and the gulf of Naples. But the architecture there is also attractive. We saw many interesting buildings and streets. The mountain slopes lead to street canyons.

The district has a lovely architecture.

Vomero is lively neighborhood and full with little bars, cafes, pasticcerias (sweets), ice cream parlours & restaurants. On Sundays some streets were pedestrian areas and very crowded. It seems many Napolitanos come to this area on weekends.

In the night many people are gathering on the sight seeing places.

To be continued.
