Contemporary Art: Kate & Eddie & Some Abstracts @ Galleria Lorcan O` Neil Rome

(Drivebycuriosity) - Rome has countless historical gems. But the Eternal City is also modern and offers some contemporary art exhibitions. Last Friday we found the Galleria Lorcan O` Neil, which is hidden in a backyard in the maze of alleys in the center of the city (lorcanoneill).

The art dealer showed paintings by Celia Hempton, the exhibition is called "Breach". Apparently the artist has different topics and styles. Above you can see the paintings "Kate" And "Eddie". Both are oil on canvas.

But Mrs. Hempton masters also abstracts.

Above you can see "Stromboli, 900 Metres, 5th July 2017 (2017, oil and volcanic ash on linen) followed by "Stromboli, 900 Metres, 21th July 2017 (2017, oil and volcanic ash, ladybirds  on linen); "Stromboli, 900 Metres, 5th July 2017 (2017, oil and volcanic ash on linen) & "Stromboli, 400 Metres" /2014, oil on canvas).

The backyard has also a beautiful fountain.
