Contemporary Art: The Worlds Of Akira Ikezoe

(Drivebycuriosity) - The Nada art fair, which happened in New York last weekend,  was a place for discoveries. One of them is Akira Ikezoe. The art gallery Proyectos Ultraviolets from Guatemala City (uvuvuv), dedicated their booth to the Japanese artist. As you can see his paintings (oil on canvas) display a lot of sarcastical humor.

The painting above (shown complete and in details) tells a lot stories.

The painting above deals in a humorous way with war & mayhem.

Above you can see a kind of rain forrest culture. But let the images speak for themselves.

Enjoy!
