(Drivebycuriosity) - My wife and I are traveling again. We started our journey in Miami. As usual we went to some art museums.
So we visited there the Pérez Art Museum which specializes on art from Miami and the Caribbean region (pamm). I spotted there some interesting paintings and show here my favorites, a very subjective selection as usual.
Above you can see "Fire (America) 5" by Teresita Fernández (2017, Glazed ceramic).
The museum also owns Robert Rauschenberg`s "Love Hotel (Anagram (A Pun)) (1998, Inkjet pigmented transfer on polylaminate).
Above Goshka Macuga`s "Aby Warhol on Madness and Ritual, set for Scene 2" (2014, tapestry).
Julio Galán`s "China Poblana" (1987, oil on canvas)
Here you can see Andy Warhol in drag; by Christopher Makos: "Altered Images Series, Andy, Miami" (1981, Gelatin silber print).
One room focuses on art work created with a type writers. Above a work by Dirk Kreker.
The museum also shows videos by the German artist Dara Friedman, including these beauties showing their bras.
