(Drivebycuriosity) - My wife and I went back to Las Vegas. This time there was no big heavy metal festival. Apparently the host, Psycho Las Vegas, went into permanent hiatus. This time we stayed just 2 nights in the Conrad Resort World and continued then southwards to Arizona.
Unfortunately it was freaking cold there. The morning temperatures were in the low 50s F and it was very windy. So we skipped the planned swims in the pools. There were just some pools open, watched by poor swim guards, who had to suffer in the cold. But in the afternoon the temperatures went up to the low 60s. We changed our minds and chose the challenge of one of the uncontested pools.
Anyway it was nice to see this funny & very lively city again and watch the happy crowds on the streets and in the casinos. There is also a pub that has 30 rotating craft beers on tap. Maybe one day we will come back.
