New York City: Painting Houston Street

It looks like that New York City is a huge outdoor museum. On many streets and places you can see interesting graffiti and murals. There is always something going on.

For years a wall at East Houston Street, the unofficial border between  East Village and Lower East Side in South Manhattan, has been used as a showcase of local art. This  week I spotted the birth of the newest creation.

A local artist, named CRASH (born as John Matos animalnewyork) together with some assistants, sprayed his vision of Popeye on the wall.

Enjoy.
