New York City: Late Winter AT Lower East Side

This weekend the "daylight saving time" will start in the U.S. In Germany we call this phenomenon "Sommerzeit" (summertime). But summer, and even spring, seem to be far away.

This morning New York City awoke in snow, which confirms the reputation for long and nasty winters in the metropolis.

But even the unpleasant weather has some nice parts. Here some shots from the snowy Lower East Side.
