New York City: Samsung Meets Fred Astaire

The world is a jungle. You could see competition everywhere. There is now a fierce battle between Apple and Samsung for the global smartphone market.

This morning I spotted a funny marketing campaign from Samsung. The Korean technology giant advertised for their new smartphone, the Galaxy S4.

The event happened at New York`s popular Union Square. Where could it happened else? There are not many places in the world that can match the high density & wealth accumulation of Manhattan.

A crowd of bystanders watched a flock of dancers who performed in the style of Fred Astaire accompanied by songs from the Hollywood icon´s movies.

I don't know if the event will have an influence on the prospective buyers of smartphones. But it was an amazing piece of pop culture.  Btw, the performers didn´t text during dancing.
