(Drivebycuriosity) - New York City has a new attraction - Hudson Yards. This is a huge real estate development in Manhattan`s midtown along the Hudson River (
wikipedia). It contains about a dozen skyscrapers including the tower 30 Hudson Yards with 73 floors (1,268 feet/387 meters
tallest). I like it`s elegant & dynamical design, it looks much better than the uninspiring One World Trade Center which replaced the World Trade Center. Recently I took a visit and made some snapshots which I represent here.
My favorite construction there is the Vessel. This landmark, designed by the British designer Thomas Heatherwick, is an elaborate honeycomb-like structure (
wikipedia). It rises 16 stories and consists of 154 flights of stairs, 2,500 steps, and 80 landings for visitors to climb. Look how beautiful it is.

The Hudson Yards complex contains several upmarket stores & restaurants and attracts quite a crowd.
