(Drivebycuriosity) - New York City has a new attraction - Hudson Yards. This is a huge real estate development in Manhattan`s midtown along the Hudson River (wikipedia). It contains about a dozen skyscrapers including the tower 30 Hudson Yards with 73 floors (1,268 feet/387 meters tallest). I like it`s elegant & dynamical design, it looks much better than the uninspiring One World Trade Center which replaced the World Trade Center. Recently I took a visit and made some snapshots which I represent here.
My favorite construction there is the Vessel. This landmark, designed by the British designer Thomas Heatherwick, is an elaborate honeycomb-like structure (wikipedia). It rises 16 stories and consists of 154 flights of stairs, 2,500 steps, and 80 landings for visitors to climb. Look how beautiful it is.
