(Drivebycuriosity) - My wife and I are traveling again and we are staying in Vancouver. Contrary too many US cities the Canadian west coast metropolis has a dense center (downtown) with a lot high rises. Apparently a smart & dedicated city planning avoided the usual American sprawl - lifting the life style in the city ( wikipedia).

I am impressed by the modern
architecture and the legion of cool & very stylish buildings.
Vancouver`s center is walkable, very modern and clean and looks like a 21st century Manhattan. Apparently the architects got encouraged to realize ambitious ideas.
