(Drivebycuriosity) - Bangkok reminds me a bit of Venice. The metropolis has so many waterways. In the recent days I stayed at a little hotel at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 1, one of the many alleys along one of Bangkok`s busiest street. The hotel locates @ Khlong Saen Saep, one of Bangkok`s canals.
The canal offers a sharp contrast to the busy Times Square like area. It is relatively quite there and there is a lush jungle like vegetation. It was a lot of fun to hike along the Khlong and to observe the variety.
There are also speed ferries. Traveling on them cost almost nothing.
To be continued
