Photography: A Walk In Naples, Italy

(Drivebycuriosity) - My wife and I are continuing our stay in Naples (Napoli) where we are lodging in the district Vomera which lays on a mountain over the city. On Monday we walked down the many steps to the city center.

At the beginning we got rewarded with amazing views onto the city and the Gulf of Naples.

The stairs are flanked by old but beautiful houses.

The constructions are blended with greens.

The houses my be old and poor but their residents beautify them with flowers.

I liked the colors, especially the variations of yellow.

Drying laundry in the sun seems to be a Napolitan sports.

As we approached the center the buildings got higher and the streets more vibrant.

There are also little markets and the streets are crowded with motor cyclists.

In some areas the streets became canyons.

We also spotted some funny street art.

To be continued.
