(Drivebycuriosity) - Do you like abstract paintings or do you prefer figurative?

Grimm Gallery on Manhattan´s traditional Bowery (
grimmgallery ). I have seen works by the Berlin based artist before @ The Viehoff Collection in Hamburg (
driveby ) and I enjoyed the new show (all 2019, oil on canvas) as well.
On top of this post you can see "Entre Nou" followed by "Ärgere" & "Metallgewürgt in Nebuala". I have no idea what the artist wants to say to us, but I like the surreal & flamboyant style.
Above "Unser die Zukunft" & "Männer mit Harfe und Rasiermesser". Sounds somewhat violent.
Above "Nächte ohne Scblaf" followed by "DIE ELEGANZ EMANZIPIERTER MENSCHEN" & "Unser der Tag". Anyway, great paintings.
