Contemporary Art: Summer Of Love (Explicit) @ Gallery Freight & Volume New York

(Drivebycuriosity) - It`s summer in New York City, the Summer of Love, claims the gallery Freight + Volume in Manhattan`s rapidly gentrifying Lower East Side (97 Allen Street freightandvolume). The art dealer has a group exhibition, a collection of summery images, often erotic, some explicit, called "Summer of Love" (through September 5, 2018  exhibitions). I display here my favorites from the show, a very subjective selection as usual.

On top of this post you can see "She Is Always The First One In" by Aaron Zulpo (2018). The image looks like a movie scene, which seems to be typical for his works (artsy ). I like the expressionist use of colors.

Above more expressionist images: "A Glimmering Flame" by Elizabeth Huey (2018) followed by Natalie Collette Wood`s "Ghosted" (2018) & Zach Seeger`s "Man, Woman, Moon Bathroom, Hallway" (2018).

Above "A Big Kick" by Kristen Schiele (2018) & Andy Cross`" Camp Eden" (2016-2017)

Above David Humphrey`s "At the Window" (2017) followed by 4 drawings by Ulrike Theusner;
Jenna Gribbon`s "Me Looking At Her Looking At Me" (2018) & Maria Kreyn`s "3" (2015).

 Above 2 works by Nicholas Cueva: "Sprite" (2017) & "Yellow" (2018)

To be continued
