"Mission Impossible - Fallout", the number 6 of the series, shows that Tom Cruise´s ambitious long time action movie project is still alive and kicking (imdb). The team of creators, lead by Christopher McQuarrie (script writer & director) and the squad of producers (Tom Cruise plus "Lost" creator J. J. Abrams and 8 more persons) delivered again a veritable blockbuster.
I liked No. 5 better (more elegant and more sexy driveby) but I enjoyed again the sheer endless chain of stunts and other action scenes which were breathtakingly choreographed and often humorous. It`s impressive that Tom Cruise (born 1962) still does a lot of the stunts by himself. And he is still believable in his role.
There was a promising newcomer: Vanessa Kirby, who played a sophisticated weapon broker, the "White Widow", and I also enjoyed a short encounter with a surprised female cop in Paris. The most fun came from the cinematography which blended the action into the elegance & beauty of Paris, the futurist appeal of London and the awesome landscapes of New Zealand & Norway.
If they produce a No. 7, I would watch it.
