Hauser & Wirth belongs to the global art dealer empires with locations in Switzerland, Hong Kong, UK, New York City and Los Angeles (
hauserwirth ). Last Friday I visited their place in L.A. and saw 2 interesting exhibitions:
The show "
Jack Whitten: Self Portrait with Satellites" celebrates "Jack Whitten’s (1939 – 2018) unique ability to convey the power of philosophical, scientific, and mathematical concepts through an exquisite abstraction" (
exhibitions). I really love the painting above (and a detail of it) called "Satori"(1969, Acrylic on canvas).
