Contemporary Art: (Dis) Figured @ Gallery Montoro12 Rome

 

(Drivebycuriosity) - Rome has countless historical gems. But the eternal city is also modern and offers some contemporary art exhibitions. Last Friday we discovered the gallery Montoro12 Contemporay Art somewhere in the central district  (m12gallery). The art dealer had a group exhibition called "(Dis) Figured" which showed paintings by Rashwan Abdelbaki, Luis Gomez de Teran & Jan Van Oost. I display here my favorites from the show, a very subjective selection as usual.

On top of this post you can see "Cose che dimentico" by Luis Gomez de Teran  (2018, oil on board, epoxy resin, Aster, 90x70cm) followed by “Connection” & “Eve, Aged” & “Emptiness”, all by Rashwan Abdelbaki.
