Contemporary Art: Günther Förg`s Geometric Compositions @ Hauser & Wirth New York

 (Drivebycuriosity) - Do you like abstract paintings? At Hauser & Wirth in Manhattan´s Chelsea district I saw the exhibition "Günther Förg. Works from 1986 – 2007" (hauserwirth). The press release explains that the German artist (1952-2013) "was a prolific painter, sculptor, graphic designer, and photographer whose daring conceptual works subsume and critique Modernist tropes".

I enjoyed seeing the huge abstracts. They combined perfectly with the architecture.
