(Drivebycuriosity) - My wife and I like heavy metal and traveling. So we used our stay in London to watch a heavy metal concert in the famous Royal Albert Hall. The impressive concert hall was opened by Queen Victoria in 1871 and can seat 5,272 ( wikipedia.)
Last Friday we enjoyed the gig by the Swedish metal bank Meshuggah, known for complex, polymetered song structures and polyrhythms. Massive atonal riffs shook the huge hall and the crowd on the ground were jumping & stage diving. The elaborate light show intensified the experience.
Stay tuned
