(Drivebycuriosity) - My wife and I are staying in London - after visiting Aachen, Köln (Cologne) & Berlin. The first 3 nights we lodged in a hotel on River Thames at Albert Enbankment. From there we had a walk east toward Bermondseys to visit a gallery there.

Bermondsey is a stylish and posh area. I liked the architecture there and I spotted on my hike.
The explored area - and most of London - has wonderful old renovated buildings.
But there are also some futuristic skyscrapers - like the Shard.
