Traveling: Snapshots From Berlin

(Drivebycuriosity) -  My wife and I stayed in Berlin again - our third visit since 2014 & 2016. The city sprawls over a vast area and is more comparable to Los Angeles than to New York City. And the place is very green thanks to a lot of parks, lakes, riversides and a large forrest right in the center  (Tiergarten). I call it a green Los Angeles.

We stayed Airbnb in a neighborhood called Nollendorf in the district Schöneberg and moved than to a hotel at Postdamer Platz. we watched a richard Wagner opera ("Lohengrin") and some heavy metal concerts.

The city has a mix of traditional buildings with modern architecture.

Schloss Charlottenburg in the west of the city was built in the end of the 17th century and attracts obviously some photo shooting.

It seems Richard Wagner was quite popular - rightly so.

Berlin has many parks. The Tiergarten in the center is a wonderful place.

The designer of the city like sculptures and were not afraid of nudes.

Above a lock canal in one of the ubiquitous canals.

I look into Zwiebelfisch (Onion fish) - Scenekneipe (scene pub).

We spotted lot of amazing street art

These jailbaits (kind of) used to advertise for a Pizzeria
