(Drivebycuriosity) - My wife and I are still staying in Los Angeles. Yesterday we took a bus ride to Long Beach, a city @ the southern border of L.A. Being an ambitious amateur photographer I took some snap shots there.
The weather was great and we enjoyed plenty of sunshine. The place seemed to be a bit sleepy, maybe because the subway connection to L.A. (Blue Line) had a hiatus caused by construction works.
As the name says, the city has a very long strip of sand along the Pacific Coast.
There are some interesting buildings.

We also spotted some wonderful front gardens.
