Contemporary Art: Embracing The Victor @ Hollis Taggart New York

(Drivebycuriosity) - New York`s Chelsea district is always worth a visit. There are so many classy art galleries. On my recent visit I spotted an interesting show @ Hollis Taggart ( hollistaggart). The art dealer exhibits a selection from their contemporary collection. I display here my favorites, a very subjective selection as usual.

Above you can see Alex Kanevsky`s "M.H." (2018, Oil on board, 18 x 18 inches) followed by his "K.B." (1996, Oil on board, 16 x 16 inches) & "Model with Apple and the Planes" (2018; Oil on board, 24 x 23 inches).

Above John Knuth`s "Epicenter" (2016, Acrylic/Flyspeck on canvas, 48 x 60 inches (diptych) followed by Alexis Portilla`s "Red Thrush" (2015, Oil on canvas, 36 x 36 inches).

William Buchina`s "Embracing the Victor 1" (2016, Acrylic on canvas, 36 x 54 inches).

To be continued
