Traveling: Arrival @ The Raweekanlaya Bangkok

(Drivebycuriosity) - My wife and I are traveling again. We started on Thanksgiving and stayed four nights in La  - 2 nights in Culver City & 2 in the Airport hotel. Then we went to Bangkok via Incheon/Seoul - about 23 hours travel time. But the changeable business class seats allowed sleeping. On Incheon we had to join long queues for double passport control and security checks -  even though we only transferred from gate to gate. We had to sacrifice the sparkling water we purchased at LAX (did Isis ever attack with sparkling water?).

We are staying in "The Raweekanlaya", a small hotel, that was once used by the royal court as a residence. The place is simple but has a wonderful garden, including a tiny pool.

I really enjoy sitting there in the temporary tranquility (sometimes spoiled by kids) and observe the lush tropical plants and listen to the ravens.

To be continued.
