(Drivebycuriosity) - Cities can be best explored by hiking. Bangkok is a wonderful place for that. Afternoon temperatures of around 90F (32 C) are acceptable. On Sunday we hiked from the Wat Arun southwards and following the river to the Iconsiam, a huge mall in western style ( iconsiam).
The walk offered a lot of very different impressions, typical for this metropolis. We had to cross one of the many canals, which offer dwelling for the less fortunate. And they are amazing objects for a photographer.

Bangkok has massive traffic. Often streets only can be crossed via pedestrian bridges, which are ubiquitous. Above a shot from a bridge towards the Iconsiam.
