Contemporary Art: Overwhelmed From The Summer Exhibition @ Royal Academy Of Arts London

(Drivebycuriosity) - My wife and I are back from London, where we stayed 6 weeks. The metropolis had so much to discover. A visit @ the Royal Academy of Arts belonged to the highlights (royalacademy). They showed their 251st Summer Exhibition (running since 1768). More than 1,500 art works were on display. I was overwhelmed by the sheer quantity, quality & variety of styles & ideas.

The show attracted of course a cool crowd which made the event even more interesting. In the moment of writing there are still many art works on sale online (artworks). I can display here just a fraction of the works I liked here, a very small & subjective selection as usual.
