Contemporary Art: Ryan Hewett @ Unit London

 

(Drivebycuriosity) - London`s Mayfair district is spiced with ambitious art galleries.  I discovered Unit London there, which displayed 2 exhibitions. I already posted about their Sage Vaughn show ( driveby). This post focuses on the exhibition Ryan Hewett: New Paintings (theunitldn).


Above you can see my favorite  "La Femme I" (2019, Oil on canvas, 142 x 177 cm). I find this painting quite elegant & sexy.

 

But other work fascinated me as well. Above "La Femme IV" followed by "Skin and Petals I"  &  "La Femme II", all  from 2019, Oil on canvas.
