Photography: Snapshots From The British Museum London

(Drivebycuriosity) - If you come to London, a visit of the British Museum seems to be obligatory. Admission is free, but they charge for temporary exhibitions. My wife and I went two times there but we could see only a fraction of the amassed treasures. We had fun anyway. Being an ambitious amateur photographer I took some snapshots there.

There happened to be a flock of models preparing for a show, maybe the running Manga Exhibition.

Above my favorite, a Roman vase - the famous Portland Vase - made from cameo glass ( wikipedia).

Above a Griffin from the villa of Roman Emperor Hadrian at Tivoli

Above some proud Romans

Other visitors seemed to have fun as well

To be continued
